Academic Research – Dr. Mert Gül | Macroeconomics & Financial Economics

I am Dr. Mert Gül, a university tutor and researcher in economics with a focus on macroeconomics, development economics, and financial economics. My work explores the complex relationships between economic, financial, social, and political indicators, with a particular interest in how financial risk factors influence economic development. I frequently apply advanced econometric techniques to both subnational and international datasets, allowing me to analyze economic dynamics across regions and countries with greater precision.

My research interests are supported by strong expertise in financial analysis, corporate finance, financial management, international finance, spatial analysis, and applied macroeconomics. Through my academic work, I aim to contribute evidence-based insights that help deepen our understanding of economic development, financial systems, and the broader factors shaping economic outcomes.
